Hello & thank you for nominating a great individual to join one of Experience Institute’s programs!
Simply fill out the short form below and we’ll start a conversation with the nominee(s). Here is some background info on Ei and this process:
Experience Institute students are more than just learners. They are part of a movement to make experiential learning a credible form of higher education. Your nominees will likely have questions about us too. Please have them visit our FAQ or reach out to us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What am I nominating someone to do?
Experience Institute leads two programs: Leap Summer & Leap Year. Our students mix practical skills with real-world experiences. At each Meetup, our team of instructors who’ve worked alongside MIT, Stanford, the Obama Campaign, etc. teach workshops and classes on five core competencies (Storytelling, Design Thinking, Operations, Self Awareness, Human Centered Design). Throughout the weeks in between, the Ei team supports these individuals as they research and explore their fields of study through apprenticeships and creative projects around the world. If cost is an issue for your nominee, we have have scholarships on a case-by-case basis. Also, several of our Host Companies offer paid apprenticeships for their time, which aid with tuition.
Who could benefit as an Ei student?
Consider nominating talented, self-starting students who hope to learn through experience. Leap Summer is designed for college students who are interested in receiving college credit for their summer experiences while also learning transitional skills. Leap Year is designed for individuals interested in designing a full year of experiences in their field(s) of study. They’re considering Master’s programs, shifting careers or taking a gap year. They can be in full-time jobs or in-between.
In any case, Ei students are often strategists, designers, business developers, entrepreneurs, anthropologists, software developers or pursuing a field that benefits from a wider set of experiences and research. They’re interested in further education and are interested in designing their own path forward with a bright and caring community.
